Travel Advice

If you are travelling outside the UK you may need to be immunised against some of the serious diseases that are found in other parts of the world.

Generally, if you are travelling to countries in Northern and Central Europe, North America, Australia or New Zealand it is unlikely you will need any vaccinations.

If you are travelling outside these areas please complete a travel form (download this form) and bring to the surgery at least eight weeks before you go. Our travel nurse will then be in touch to provide advice and book any needed vaccinations.  The nurse will get back to you usually within one week and at most two weeks.
Certain vaccinations are not available on the NHS or are only partly available and you will have to pay for these. Our travel nurse will advise if you need any of these and where you can get them.
